At Tustin Community Preschool, we believe in making learning fun, hands-on, and interactive. Our Curriculum Coordinators have put together a series of engaging monthly activities that will inspire creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning in kids of all ages.
We're thrilled to introduce "A Splash of Genius...at home." Each month will focus on learning activities for "Builders, Bakers, Movers, and Makers," designed to spark exploration and development in unique and exciting ways!
**Builders:**
Kids will use materials to design and construct. Whether it’s creating a towering skyscraper or a mini village, the focus is on teamwork, problem-solving, and spatial awareness.
**Movers:**
Physical activity meets learning in this dynamic category! From obstacle courses to dance challenges, Movers will help kids develop coordination, balance, and strength while encouraging them to express themselves through movement.
**Bakers:**
Get ready to mix, knead, and bake! In this tasty activity, children will explore math and science concepts through the fun process of baking—measuring ingredients, following recipes, and watching the magic of dough rise and cookies bake.
**Makers:**
For the creative minds, Makers will dive into arts and crafts, building projects, and DIY inventions. Whether it’s making slime, creating sculptures from recycled materials, or designing their own DIY crafts, this activity encourages self-expression and hands-on learning.
These monthly themes will rotate to ensure that every month brings a fresh, exciting set of challenges and opportunities for our students (and friends). Each activity is designed to nurture essential skills like critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and physical coordination, all while having a great time.
